How It Works

Please place your order online. Once your order request has been received, you will receive two emails: an order confirmation and a receipt. We will contact you if an item is unavailable for the dates reserved. If you are not contacted, please consider your order confirmed.

Items may be rented for 1 or 2 days however due to the time/effort put into sanitizing rental equipment there is a 3-day minimum fee applied. Rentals between 6-7 days will be charged the flat weekly rate. Please call us for quotes on long-term rentals.

Toddler’s Travels is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday however items can be delivered a day or two earlier around holidays to accommodate your travel plans. Items are also available on these dates for pick-up from our warehouse.

Delivery to Accommodation

Delivery of your rental equipment to a vacation rental, local resident or hotel is typically made prior to your arrival and is coordinated directly with the property manager, host, owner, or family member. Although we try to deliver prior to your arrival and pick up after your departure, this service is subject to the accommodation manager's operating policies. We begin pickups the morning of your departure; there is no charge for the end date if items are returned or available for our driver to pick up by 10 am. Please place the rental items where they were delivered. Deliveries to hotels/resorts will be left with the bellhop.

Toddler's Travels will deliver to most regions within San Diego County. There is a $50.00 minimum order requirement for delivery service within zone 1 zip codes plus a delivery fee of $25 each way and a $75 minimum order requirement for zone 2 plus a delivery fee of $35 each way.

Orders placed on the same day that delivery is required will be fulfilled if possible but are not guaranteed. Please call us at 619-688-9655 to check with us.

If you are moving between 2 locations in San Diego county and need your baby or beach rental equipment moved, an extra pick-up and extra delivery fee is applied; please make notes of details in the notes section of the order form.

Picking up from our warehouse

If you would like to avoid the delivery charge, pick-up by a customer from our warehouse is available. Rental items are available for pick up from our warehouse 4 am-12 midnight, located at: 3705 Pacific Highway, Suite A San Diego, CA 92110 (Near San Diego Airport’s Rental Car Center - building is in front of Sun Diego Car Rental Company)

You will be contacted via text or email (please check spam/junk) with an access code to the warehouse Customer Room 1-2 days prior to your travel dates by a Toddler’s Travels representative.

Upon returning your items at the end of your rental, please take a photo of the items in the warehouse and send it to Todd at 619-339-4493

Delivery to Car Rental Agencies/Airport

If your flight is delayed or changed from the times you entered on the order form, please be sure to call us- we schedule our other deliveries around an airport delivery and it may impact other customers delivery times. Toddler's Travels will wait up to 30 minutes after stated arrival time before continuing onto other scheduled deliveries and cannot guarantee timely delivery to the car rental if the customer has not advised of a flight delay. A $25 fee may be added due to the 30-minute unscheduled wait.

After retrieving your luggage (once you board the shuttle), text our customer representative at 619-339-4493. Our driver will meet you at the Rental Car Center, or curbside if you are not renting a car.

Likewise for departure day, please advise us of the time you plan to return the car, and text 619-339-4493 thirty (30) minutes prior to arrival time at the car rental agency.

Delivery to the airport car rental agency as well as your accommodation can be provided with an extra delivery fee applied (please refer to the delivery zone map provided below).

If you have an early or late flight, rental items can be picked up or dropped off at our warehouse located across the highway from the Rental Car Center.
