Covid19 and Cleaning Protocol:

Toddler’s Travels has an outstanding reputation when it comes to cleaning and sanitizing baby/beach equipment, and we are fully committed to taking our protocol to the next level until this pandemic is resolved.

To request no-contact delivery and pick up please write your request in the notes section of the order form - we will deliver before you arrive and pick up after you leave or arrange to place the items on the front porch followed by a text.

These are the cleaning steps we follow:

Safety Check: All rental items are checked for safety issues at the completion of each rental. All items are purchased new and certified by the Juvenile Product Manufacturer’s Association. We can provide a wearable Sleep Sack as a safe alternative to loose bedding for all babies up to 15 months, 24 lbs. and 31" tall. Breathable mesh bumpers to allow for airflow and visibility while keeping your infant's arms and legs safely inside the crib or regular bumpers are available.

Vacuum: We vacuum from top to bottom and in and around every crevice.

Cleaning: Car seat covers, stroller covers and linens are put through a gentle wash between every rental in Free and Clear detergent. Hard surfaces are cleaned using an environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and biodegradable cleaner which is also a hospital-grade formula and known to kill Sars-CoV-2 which is the strain of coronavirus that causes COVID-19. It is also effective against colds and the flu.

Sanitizing: Our baby and beach rentals are then steam cleaned with water temperature reaching at least 212 degrees to kill germs and bacteria.

Drying: Excess water is soaked up with a wet/dry vacuum and air-dried.

Bagging: Items are immediately bagged and sealed in large plastic bags and not touched again until opened by our customers.

How Do I Prepare My Rental Items For Pick-Up?

Please leave cribs and large items as is. Toddler’s Travels will take care of breaking it down at pick-up. All other equipment should be left in the perspective place(s) we delivered.

The equipment is delivered clean and ready for your use; upon departure, please leave it respectfully clean. When renting outdoor/indoor toys, please make sure all toys are gathered prior to your departure or risk receiving a damages charge.

Will you install my car seat?

Sorry, we are not able to offer car seat installations at this time. To safely install your car seat rental, please read the manual and watch the installation video provided in your email confirmation.

California law states a child under 2 years and under 40 pounds or under 40 inches tall must be in a rear-facing car seat installed in the back seat of the car.

A child is approved to use a forward-facing car seat when weighing 40 pounds or more, or 40 inches or more in height, which typically happens when the child is 2-4 years old.

The California Office of Traffic Safety states that a child under the age of 8 must ride in a booster seat.
